But with so many extensive rules and regulations to playing can you learn how to play it? Of course you can, you just have to know where to look to find the rules, so you can join the millions of other people who are already playing. There are many different places you can find the rules of chess. Here is a list of ideas on where to look for the rules of chess.
1. The Internet- Our society has totally gone technical and you can find just about anything you want using the internet. If you’re looking to learn the rules of chess check online. If you put into the search engine what are the rules of chess it will bring up many different sources (as mentioned before); one of those sources will be Wikepedia. Wikepedia tells you how to set the game up, how to play it, different movement rules for all pieces, illegal positioning, codes, proper chess conduct, and a full history of where it originated. You can’t get much better than that. It will also give you some other links, articles, or further reading to go to if you haven’t found exactly what you’re looking for.
4. Friends and family- On great resource on finding some rules to chess is looking to friends, family and neighbors. Chess is played all around the world by millions of people, so you might be surprised at who loves to play and knows all the rules you need to know. So don’t think that you will only find the rules with your neighbors; look to family and friends all over the world since chess is played internationally
